Newspaper panel focuses on Indian issues

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2001 The New England Society of Newspaper Editors will host a panel to discuss media coverage of Indian issues this Saturday at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center on the Mashantucket Reservation in Connecticut. The panel will include former Assistant Secretary Kevin Gover, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, Mashantucket Pequot attorney Tom Tureen, Preston First Selectman Robert N. Congdon and regional representatives of the media and Harvard University. It is hoped the panel will help editors improve coverage of Indian issues Get the Story:
