JUNE 27, 2001 In an upcoming book, former conservative writer and Bill and Hillary Clinton foe David Brock claims he lied about Anita Hill in his book about the scandal over Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Brock says he published allegations about Hill he knew not to be true in his 1993 book The Real Anita Hill. In the book, he said Hill was "a little bit nutty and a little bit slutty." Brock was later part of a conservative magazine's so-called "Arkansas Project," which sought to discredit the Clintons. Brocks's testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee about Bush's Solicitor General nominee Ted Olson involvement in the project was the subject of a slight delay in the confirmation process. Brock, who apparently has had a change of heart on all sorts of issues, is publishing his revelations in an upcoming book Blinded by the Right : the Conscience of an Ex-Conservative. An excerpt is published in the August issue of Talk magazine. Get the Story:
