MAY 22, 2001 The Bush administration has interviewed a number of candidates for the job of FBI Director, anonymous officials said on Monday. The list includes:
- George Terwilliger, a Washington, DC, lawyer who helped out President Bush during the Florida election caess. A former deputy attorney general in the elder Bush administration
- Joel Flaum, chief judge of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals
- Robert Mueller, US Attorney in San Francisco, California
- Dan Webb, a Chicago, Illinois, attorney whose recent clients include tobacco giant Phillip Morris
