Russell Means for President? For Gubna?

MAY 21, 2001 Activist Russell Means says he entered the acting business to change it from the inside and it looks like he's applying the same to politics. A Libertarian, Means says he is considering running for President in 2004 or Governor of New Mexico in 2002. He tried to get the Libertarian nomination in 1988 but failed. If he ran for Governor, he'd face potential candidates in former Energy Secretary Bill Richardson, who is exploring the run for the Democratic nomination. The state's current Republican Governor, Gary Johnson, can't run for a third term. Get the Story:
