MAY 1, 2001 Maybe Bush's handlers should have stuck to the jib that the President doesn't care about his first 100 days in office, judging from yesterday's reportedly poor attendance by Democrats at a luncheon he held to mark the milestone. Of the 535 members of Congress Bush invited, only 193 showed up. Most Democrats and party leaders neglected to attend the fete. Get the Story:
