APRIL 23, 2001 Despite recent political mishaps over global warming, carbon dioxide, and arsenic in drinking water, Environmental Protection Agency Chief Christie Todd Whitman says she will weather the storm. The former New Jersey Governor is used to raising eyebrows on the environment and on other issues.
