APRIL 19, 2001 Indian and non-Indians alike in Connecticut gave positive reviews on Wednesday to Neal McCaleb, President Bush's pick to head the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the Mohegan Tribe, the Eastern Pequot Tribe, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, and a town leader who is suing the BIA had favorable remarks for the Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation.
