Martinez to clean HUD house

Mel Martinez says his first priority as Housing and Urban Development Secretary is to focus on cleaning up operations in Washington, DC.

Martinez plans on issuing a budget next week with no new programs other than those promoted by President George W. Bush in his campaign. Indian housing advocates are asking for $5 billion to address inadequate housing on reservations.
