Two Maine tribes said they won't seek to host a casino in the town of Kittery.

The Passamaquoddy Tribe and the Penobscot Nation are passing on the town because the council voted against casino development, said a tribal attorney. The tribes considered Kittery a prime site because of its proximity to urban areas.
