Conn. casinos report slot gains

TUESDAY, APRIL 16, 2002 Connecticut's tribes reported an increase in slot machine revenues for the month of March. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, owners of Foxwoods Resort Casino, had winnings of $70.4 million. This was $9.7 million more than March 2001. The Mohegan Tribe, owners of the Mohegan Sun Casino, reported $61.6 million, an increase of $11 million from March 2001. Under compacts signed with the state, each tribe contributes 25 percent of slot revenues. Get the Story:
