WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 2002 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe are among the largest taxpayers in neighboring Connecticut towns. The Mohegan Tribe is the fourth largest taxpayer in Montville with $13.8 million in assessed property. Additionally, the tribe gives the town $500,000 every year. The Pequot Tribe is the third largest taxpayer in Norwich with $7.7 million in assessed property. Get the Story:
