A committee of the Connecticut Legislature on Monday held a hearing to consider repealing a law some feel paved the way for Indian gaming.

Rep. Jefferson B. Davis, sponsor of the bill to repeal the "Las Vegas Nights" law, says he wants to prevent future tribal casinos from being opened. Some doubt the claim.
