The Arizona Legislature is moving to act on a bill to ensure the Gila River Tribe can host a $350 million Arizona Cardinals stadium.

A House committee has passed the bill. Senate President Randall Gnant said his chamber would act.

The bill is needed to resolve a cloud over the tribe's participation. Although the state attorney general and state tourism officials have discounted an opinion which states otherwise, the tribe withdrew its bid for legal reasons.
