TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2002 The Navajo Nation is instituting a reservation-wide 3 percent sales tax on April 1. The tax is expected to bring in more than $6 million in revenue in the next year. The money will be distributed to local chapter governments based on a formula. Get the Story:
