Threatening further land claims, three New York tribes have told Gov. George Pataki not to negotiate with tribes outside the state.

The Oneida Nation, the Cayuga Nation and the Akwesasne Mohawk Nation don't want the state to settle any land claims or offer casinos to other tribes. In the case of the Oneida and the Cayuga, they have relatives who live in other states.
