An attorney for two Oklahoma tribes who lost their Supreme Court case on Tuesday said he hopes Congress will step in and fix the dispute over some parentheses in an Indian gaming law.

"This decision affects every tribe in the country engaged in pull-tab sales," Bob Rabon told The Daily Oklahoman. "The federal law is poorly written. We're just hoping that Congress will revisit it."

In a 7-2 decision, the Court said the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act didn't exempt tribes from paying certain federal taxes on pull-tabs they sell.
