SEPTEMBER 8, 2000 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut held a welfare-to-work conference at its financially successful casino on Thursday. About 100 attended the half-day conference. It focused on a program which helps people on welfare find a new job or enter the work force. Get the Story:
