Tribes capitalizing on Olympics

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2001 A number of tribes are planning to use the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, to promote tourism and commerce. The Navajo Nation is spending $1.7 million for two exhibitions at the Olympics. One will be focused on the tribe and the other will have arts and crafts from all over Indian Country. Get the Story:
