Casino arrest drew no investigation

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2001 The Connecticut State Police did not investigate or discipline officers involved in the case of a man who won a $200,000 award for police harassment after being arrested at Foxwoods Casino, The New London Day is reporting today. Hassan Sabir said he was wrongly arrested, assaulted and abused at the casino by police. A videotape of the incident was shown to the jury, which apparently shows Sabir not behaving aggressively, as officers have claimed. The state may appeal the case.
