WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2001

The Oneida Nation is offering the state of New York "whatever" it needs to help recover from last week's terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

The tribe has already organized a blood drive. The tribe owns a successful casino.

The tribe is currently locked in a 25-year-old land claim battle with the state.

Donations from tribes to the relief and recovery effort have totalled more than $1 million.
