AUGUST 17, 2000 The National Indian Gaming Association held its semi-annual business meeting in Billings, Montana, on Tuesday and Wednesday, discussing several issues such as membership fees and a potential debate between Presidential candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore. NIGA, a non-profit organization, has offered to host a debate in Arizona. So far, there hasn't been any confirmation on the candidates accepting. Based in Washington, DC, NIGA's membership consists of 168 of the 198 tribes gaming today. Get the Story:
