AUGUST 16, 2000 The Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut broke slot machine revenue records for the month of July, giving the state $18 million, 25 percent of their take. Foxwoods took in $72 million on slots, up 2.4 from July 1999. Mohegan Sun took in $52 million, up 5.9 percent from July 1999. Foxwoods is owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Mohegan Sun is owned by the Mohegan Tribe. Get the Story:
