The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians of California voted to deny a permit to motorocylc shop in downtown Palm Springs.

The shop had been opposed by many in the community and was rejected by the city council. But since the land in question is owned by the tribe, the tribe had final say.

The tribe and the city had public hearings on the proposal.
