WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 2001 The Senate Indian Affairs Commitee today will hold an oversight hearing on Indian gaming, a $10 billion and growing industry. Scheduled to testify:
- Bureau of Indian Affairs Deputy Commissioner Sharon Blackwell.
- National Indian Gaming Commission Chairman Montie Deer, along with Commissioners Elizabeth Homer and Teresa Poust.
- National Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr.
- United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) President Keller George.
- California Nations Indian Gaming Association Chairman Daniel Tucker.
- Arizona Indian Gaming Association Executive Director David LaSarte.
- Oklahoma Indian Gaming Commission Executive Director Tracy Burris.
