Gaming hearing scheduled today

The Senate Indian Affairs Commitee today will hold an oversight hearing on Indian gaming, a $10 billion and growing industry.

Scheduled to testify:
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs Deputy Commissioner Sharon Blackwell.
  • National Indian Gaming Commission Chairman Montie Deer, along with Commissioners Elizabeth Homer and Teresa Poust.
  • National Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr.
  • United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) President Keller George.
  • California Nations Indian Gaming Association Chairman Daniel Tucker.
  • Arizona Indian Gaming Association Executive Director David LaSarte.
  • Oklahoma Indian Gaming Commission Executive Director Tracy Burris.
