Kiowas gamble on new casino

The Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma (formerly of Connecticut) are considering opening a new casino even though their current one has been shut down by the National Indian Gaming Commission for operating Class III gaming without a tribal-state compact.

Chairman Billy Evans Horse and other Business Committee members met with a gaming company to discuss a new $27 million, 95,000-square-foot in Devol, near the Texas border.
