Mohegan Tribe reports increased earnings

THURSDAY, JULY 19, 2001 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut on Wednesday reported an increase in slot revenues at its financially successful Mohegan Sun casino. Slot revenues for the third quarter were $150.5 million, up 10 percent from the same period a year ago. The increase is attributed to an increase in the number of slot machines in play. The tribe is currently undertaking a $1 billion casino expansion project. Get the Story:
