TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2001 The Planning and Zoning Commission of North Stonington will hold a public hearing on Thursday to consider a golf course proposed by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut. The area where the golf course would be located contains 54 historic and pre-historic sites. The construction will affect half of the sites but no human graves will be disturbed if discovered, said a tribal archaeologist. Get the Story:
