Gas prices got you down?

There's supposed to be an energy crisis but depending on where you look, its not readily reflected in gasoline prices.

Tribal gas stations have always benefited from freedom of state taxation to offer consumers lower prices. States, of course, aren't always happy and often complain about "lost" revenue, however big or small that may be.

At the same time, energy prices are dropping, according to the Energy Department, who yesterday predicted that gas prices will drop nearly a dime a gallon at the pump. The current administration has claimed gas could reach $3 a gallon.

Natural gas prices are dropping, according to industry research. In California, the poster child for the energy crisis, power prices are dropping.
