Habitat for Humanity takes back home

JUNE 6, 2001 While President Bush on Tuesday was building a home for Habitat for Humanity, the Lawrence, Kansas chapter of the organization was taking one back from a family who could not keep up with its house payments. The home was foreclosed last week, the first time the Lawrence group has asked a family to leave a home in its 12 year history. Get the Story:
