Local business owners in West Warwick, Rhode Island are still dreaming of the economic boom a casino owned the by the Narragansett Tribe could bring to the town. On Tuesday, the House Finance Committee killed a measure which would have placed the proposal on the November ballot, giving state voters the choice to approve of the tribe's casino proposal.

The bill may be revived if state representative Timothy Williamson invokes a rarely used rule to force the bill into a vote before the the entire House.
