Foxwoods: $64 million in slots

JUNE 16, 2000 Foxwoods Resort casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, reported slot machine revenues of $64 million for the month of May, up $511,000 from May 1999. The tribe's gaming compact with the state requires them to pay 25 percent to Connecticut. Along with the Mohegan Sun casino, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, Foxwoods is expected to contribute $300 million this year to the state. Together, the two casinos took in almost $110 million, giving $27.3 million to the state. Get the Story:
