MAY 30, 2000 With the passing of Proposition 1A, some of California's gaming tribes are looking to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation in Connecticut as model for success in Indian gaming. The Foxwoods Resort Casino accounts for about 15 percent of the entire $8.2 billion brought in by 198 gaming tribes in 1999. Get the Story:
