Official quits over casino visits

MAY 22, 2000 A Connecticut town official resigned earlier this month after it was discovered he was visiting the Mohegan Sun casino, owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut, on the taxpayers time. The tribe helped confirm the visits of Mark Wilson, Risk Manager for Wallingford, after the town filed a request with the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Commission.
