MAY 12, 2000 The Red Lake Band of Ojibwe is hoping the addition of a water park and hotel will bring more people to its River Road Casino in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Groundbreaking on the $22 million expansion began on May 10. The casino competes with the Shooting Star casino of the White Earth Ojibwe. Shooting Star is also undertaking a $32 million expansion.
