Confederated Tribes agree to buy island in Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- They may not be able to build a casino there, but the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs say they would purchase 30-acre Government Island in Cascade Locks for $1.9 million. Gov. Hints on finding the image: Lewis and Clark camped near there...the the picture of the bridge didn't include the island...there was a big party there...
