APRIL 18, 2001 Some residents of New London, Connecticut, plan to form a coalition to fight against a proposal made by the Eastern Pequot Tribe to build a casino in the city. They say the city can't handle a casino and that the tribe has presented overly rosy estimates of the benefits a casino will bring.
