Cherokee Nation to provide building help

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma on Tuesday said it will help other tribes construct community centers.

The tribe will help do foundation, electrical, and plumbing work. The tribe will also provide grants to help tribes purchcase tools and materials.

Community volunteers will then complete construction, said Diane Kelley, executive director of the tribe's community services program.
