Mohican Tribe seeks Catskills casino

The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans of Wisconsin and two developers are working on their plans to develop a casino in the Catskills region of New York.

Their Sullivan County proposal would be the second up for consideration. The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe has filed an application to open a casino in the county.

The Mohican Tribe has a casino in Wisconsin. New York is the tribe's aboriginal territory.
