A new development being explored by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Connecticut city of Norwich would house the tribe's offices as well as retail stores and other establishments.

The plan for the city's downtown is being revived after being delayed and scaled down over the years. The tribe and the city have been meeting to discuss the focus of the project.
