Tribe's stadium prospects seem low

JANUARY 24, 2001 Members of the Arizona Tourism and Sports Authority Board on Tuesday said a proposal offered by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation to house the Arizona Cardinals Stadium would not attract commercial development or non-football events. The board also expressed doubts over another location proposed for the stadium. The board, however, appeared to consider Tempe and West Valley as potential sites for the stadium. Get the Story:
