Foxwoods gets new casino restaurant

DECEMBER 21, 2000 Foxwoods Resort Casino, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut, is getting ready to open a new, invite-only casino and a gourmet eatery. Dubbed the "Stargazer Casino," the 25th-story room is for special guests only. It is connected to the 24th-story Paragon restaurant, which will cater to Stargazer guests but is also open to the public. Movie stars Sophia Loren and Jackie Chan will be on hand later this month to christen the Stargazer. Get the Story:
