Mohegan Tribe concerned about bridge

NOVEMBER 9, 2000 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is worried that a proposed bridge near the tribe's reservation may harm archaeological sites on their land. They met with the state Department of Transportation to discuss the plan. The plan was proposed to address traffic congestion in the area, where casinos owned by the tribe and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation are located within several miles of one another.
