New Red Lake casino planned

JANUARY 11, 2001 The Red Lake Ojibwe Tribe of Minnesota will be constructing a new casino on their reservation near Bemidji. The casino would replace the tribe's existing one on the and is expected to open by the end of the year. It would offer 400 slot machines, four blackjack tables, and bingo and is expected to cost between $6 million and $8 million. The tribe also owns casinos in two other locations. Get the Story:
