Navajo gaming decided this week

Navajo Nation President Kelsey Begaye has until the end of the week to approve or deny a plan to allow gaming for the To'hajiilee community.

To help him decide, To'hajiilee officials plan to meet with Begaye today. They've already toured California's casinos with a Begaye representative to see how they operate.

If Begaye vetoes gaming, the To'hajiilee won't try any more, said chapter president Tony Secatero.

The To'hajiilee are part of the Navajo Nation but have a separate reservation near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
