FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2001

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut on Thursday opened a new entertainment louge as part of its ongoing $1.1 billion casino expansion.

The 300-seat Cabaret will host more intimate and smaller concerts, including an upcoming peformance by crooner Tony Bennett. No word if Poison, whose loud outdoor concert last year drew complaints from tribal neighbors, will perform at this new theater.
