House extends Internet tax ban

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2001 The House on Tuesday extended a moratorium on the taxation of Internet services for two more years. Due to an pending Sunday deadline for an earlier moratorium, the Senate is promising to act soon. The House extended the ban, which applies a wide variety of Internet services and sales, until November 1, 2003. Get the Story:
