Tribe not worried about cheaper tags

OCTOBER 17, 2000 The lowering of the cost of car tags in the state of Oklahoma won't hurt the Sac and Fox nation, said its treasurer on Monday. The tribe was the first to issue tags in 1993. Some 15 tribes now issue their own tags, which are cheaper than the state's. The Cherokee Nation also plans to issue its own tribal tags. Get the Story:
