TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2002

The FBI last night issued a public warning about a potential terrorist attack, this time citing more specific information than on previous occasions when nothing happened.

The FBI said a man from Yemen and his associates may attack the United States or U.S. targets abroad in the coming days. The agency issued the warning based on information obtained from detainees currently being held at Guantánamo Bay.
