Four dead over suspected carjacking

Navajo Nation police have arrested four men and two teenagers in connection with the deaths of four people whose cars were stolen.

The Navajo Nation Strategic Reaction Team swarmed upon the the community of Round Rock, Arizona, to take the six into custody, said authorities. The six are wanted in connection with the deaths of David K. Begay, Gesbert Sam, Alice Slim and Slim's 9-year-old granddaughter.

They are also wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occured in October 31. Slim's pickup truck was allegedly used for the robbery.

Federal charges have not been laid yet, but are being requested. Due to the Major Crimes Act, the Navajo tribe has only charged the three men with aggravated battery and and the others with investigation of armed robbery.
