Wen Ho Lee still in jail

SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 Wen Ho Lee, the Taiwan-born physicist suspected of stealing secrets from the Los Alamos National Laboratory, was ordered to stay in jail by the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. The court acted on its own in making the decision. Government laywers from the Department of Justice had planned on asking the court to reconsider a decision by US District Judge James Parker to release Lee on $1 million bail. Related Stories:
